Disguised as their favorite condomints those zany monkeys have snuck into the local hamburger joint and are wreaking havoc!
It's up to the Cap Bros to make the burgers before the monkeys make mince meat out of them!

Download And Install Directions
Click Here or on the link above, and download the Monkey Burgers Installer.
Run the Installer by Double Clicking on it. Follow the on-screen instructions.
When the installer finishes, you can run Monkey Burgers by clicking on the 'Start' button and
selecting 'Programs->Monkey Burgers->Monkey Burgers'.
Game Setup
When you run Monkey Burgers you'll initially be presented with the Title Screen.
Press any button or the Space bar to advance to the
Game Setup Screen.
On this screen, push up/down on the keyboard or any joystick to move the Selection Star around.
Press the Space key or any joystick button to change the option to the right of the Selection Star.
Pushing left or right on a controller will cause the character assigned to that controller to run. This can help identify which joystick is which.
When you have the options set to your liking, move the Selection Star down until it is to the right of the word 'Start' and
press the Space key or any joystick button.
Play Modes
Arcade Mode
The basic game mode.
Each player starts with 3 lives.
Play lasts until all players have run out of lives.
5 Round Tourny
Each player starts with 3 lives.
If a player with no lives remaining dies, 400 points are subtracted from his/her score.
The player with the highest score after 5 rounds of play wins.
8 Round Tourny
Each player starts with 3 lives.
If a player with no lives remaining dies, 400 points are subtracted from his/her score.
The player with the highest score after 8 rounds of play wins.
Win By 5000 pts
Each player starts with 3 lives.
If a player with no lives remaining dies, 400 points are subtracted from his/her score.
The player who finishes any round 5000 or more points ahead of all other players wins.
One Life To Live
Each player starts EACH round with 1 life.
If a player with no lives remaining dies, he/she remains out of play until the start of the next round.
The last living player on a round is given 30 seconds before play automatically advances to the next round.
The player with the highest score after 5 rounds of play wins.
Last Man Standing
Death match style play.
Each player starts with 3 lives.
The player who finishes a round after all other players have run out of lives wins.
If the last living player dies with out finishing the current round, all players lose.
Blitz
Each player starts with 3 lives.
If a player with no lives remaining dies, 400 points are subtracted from his/her score.
The player with the highest score after 8 rounds of play wins.
Each round lasts only 30 seconds.
Team Modes
Individual Play
Every man for himself!
Team Play
Players 1 and 2 form Team 1.
Players 3 and 4 form Team 2.
Teammates share points and lives.
Coop Play
All players share points and lives.
Note that 'Last Man Standing' and 'Win By 5000 Points' are not available for Coop Play.
Level Sets
Monkey Burgers features a wide range of boards to play on.
These boards are divided into different 'Level Sets', each with it's own theme.
'Arcade Boards', 'Rainbow Boards', 'Big Burger Boards', and 'Construction Boards'
are just a few of the Level Sets included with Monkey Burgers.

Difficulty Settings
Adjusting the difficulty setting up/down will increase/decrease the number and speed of the monkeys Cap and the gang face.
Player Options
Up to four players can play Monkey Burgers at one time.
Each player has a setting for the character and control device he/she will be using.
For keyboard controls, the relevant keys will be shown.
For joystick control devices, the name of the joystick as it appears in the Windows 'Joyticks' or 'Gaming Options' control panel.
Pushing left or right on a controller will cause the character assigned to that controller to run. This can help identify which joystick is which.
To play with less than four players, simply set the character of the player(s) to be left out to 'Not Playing'.
Game Play
In Monkey Burgers, players vie for points by dodging the killer monkeys and making the burgers.
Basic running and jumping is done by pressing the assigned keys, or pushing left/right and any button on the selected joystick.
Ladders can be climbed by pushing up and down.
Jump up to catch ropes, use left and right to shimmy across them.
Push down and pressing jump drop down from a ropes.
Running over a burger section causes it to drop.
A burger sections will squish any player or monkey caught under it as it drops.
Any player or mokey standing on a burger section as it drops will fall with the burger section.
A burger section will drop one extra level for each player or monkey that falls with it.
To make a complete burger you must run over the burger sections until they have all fallen down onto the plate.
For each burger that is completed a bonus treat bounces out, catch the treats for extra points!
When all the burgers on a level have been completed, a new level begins.
Scoring
Dropping a Burger Section = 50 points
Completing a Burger = 200 points
Squishing or Dropping a Monkey = 200 points
Treats = 200 to 1600 points
Dying = -400 points [Select Tournament Modes Only]
Extra Life at 10,000 points

Scott Matott lives in Chicago, Il USA, where he works as a Network Engineer.
Scott has been writing computer games since he was 12, his previous career highlights include "Ninja Surfing" for Commodore 64, "Super Pacmania" for Amiga and "Cap Bros" for Windows.
Monkey Burgers is Scott's fourth Windows/DirectX game, and was written and drawn from the ground up by Scott using Microsoft Visual C++ and The Gimp.
